Good old days....wistful...

Today as I bumped into some good old past memories from my prior school n college days, I got to really missing them, although it seems like a lifetime now, it really wasn’t all that long ago that they all stood up to be counted as my golden memories.and...I have many stories to tell from that time and I recall them with great fondness and extremely heavy heart as i miss them all so dearly.

Remembering my class mates, after few years,
My eyes were filled with tears,
Everyone now is busy a lot,
No one escaped destiny’s plot.

Project reviews to campus interviews,
Nicknames to last bench games,
Cultural rehearsals to love proposals,
Short term crushes to class room blushes.

Everything is fresh in our mind,
Wish life could just rewind,
Let’s laugh, play and rejoice,
Once again become college guys.

Chatting and laughing, we were all in elation,
Till the painful moment of separation,
When it was time to part,
We returned with a heavy heart.

Today life is full of commitments,
And too many worries,
But those cherished moments,
Will live forever in our memories.

I really miss them ..do you!!!

Today is a beautiful day..

Hmmm..it reminds me about a story which my granny used to tell & i wanna share it here.

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat. A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat.He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words. Soon the hat began to fill up.A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?" The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way." What he had written was: "Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it." Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing? Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have.. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.

Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Great men say, "Life has to be an incessant process of repair and reconstruction, of discarding evil and developing goodness. In the journey of life, if you want to travel without fear, you must have the ticket of a good conscience.."

New year:with Direction & Hope

Ahh, a new year brings in new energy, new goals, and new beginnings! With a new beginning comes aggressive conscious New Year Resolution goals such as stop smoking, a new job, new relationships, losing weight, not being lazy and so on. On a conscious level, the person has made a decision to conquer their issue and has the energy and motivation to fuel this endeavor which is wonderful. The problem is that on an unconscious level there are energetic imprints that must be removed such as blockages and impediments to succeeding. The unconscious mind holds all awareness that is not presently in the conscious mind. All memories, feelings and thoughts are by definition "unconscious." It is the source and storehouse of our emotions; and it is often considered our connection with Spirit.

People have lot of new year wishes & resolutions but achieving your resolutions does not need to be an individual affair. You will stand a much greater chance of success if you have family and friends who support your cause. It doesn't help if you are trying to lose weight and your family is having fast food for dinner every day. And it doesn't help if you are trying to be an early riser but your family goes to bed way past midnight.

I have my own pledges in 2009 and till now have seen lot of ups –downs & I know how to make them happen coz if I look back any time I should have something to say about my life & what I have done so far.So Talk to people in your life about what you are trying to achieve and see how they can give you both moral and tangible support.

After all
Life is like a taxi. The meter just keeps a-ticking whether you are getting somewhere or just standing still.

I Miss you ….my sweet little brother

Where did you go??

Far away above the sky..
into the heaven beyond our reach…
became so dear to the almighty….
Left all of us gloomy…

His silent smile used to lit up our day,his quiet words showed lot of dreams in our lives.I wonder if I can go back to get a glimpse of him or else if I could discover a time machine which would help me to go back to that wonderful time I had with him, still spanking in my thoughts.

Always behind me like a shadow for 20yrs…240months..7300days…175200hrs…10512000mins…630720000secs.Our relation was like rain & thunder ,quarelling fighting constantly but still inseparable, couldn’t able to stay without each other.

Never ever thought I would see a single day without him.Its been 31months 7days,he acquired divinity,He became so close to the deity.
He is far away but so close, guiding me in each step of my life.Though he is not with me physically I can sense his presence always.

“Chinnu”….your aka will always miss you.

Nostalgic:Save my Nation

we are the largest democracy in the world, and have been fighting terrorism since we obtained independence in 1947. The wisdom of the 3000 yr old Indian civilization to realize the dream is getting the pits . India is no stranger to terrorism. But the terrorism that India has had to face for some decades can by no means be connected only to Islam; and in almost every case the ruling government has played a part in causing and even nurturing the phenomenon. If we look at the story of Sikh extremism in the 1980s in Punjab, we find it has an eerie resonance with the events that took place in Washington and New York.
Just when we thought the die was cast, we are plunged into a period of tragic uncertainty. Of course, in the world of self-preservation, everything had to be anticipated. But The terrible thing about terrorism is that ultimately it destroys those who practice it. Slowly but surely, as they try to extinguish life in others, the light within them dies.
Defeating terrorism is more difficult and far-reaching than we have assumed. We may be advancing the ball down the field at will, running over our opponent's defenses, but winning the game is another matter altogether.
But we can’t accommodate terrorism anymore….

Every important puzzle went together bit by bit, piece by piece. When one spot stops working, move to another. But be sure to come back later. The creator of the puzzle gave you the picture as a guidebook.Variety is the spice of life. It's the different colors andpatterns that make the puzzle interesting.Establish the border first. Boundaries give a sense of security and order.Don't be afraid to try different combinations. Some matches are surprising.Take time to celebrate your successes (even little ones).Anything worth doing takes time and effort. A great puzzle can'tbe rushed.
